Audio Engineer / Creative

August 2006 - Present

As an audio engineer and musician I have written, produced, recorded, mixed and mastered albums for the band Among Authors. I've also created soundscapes and voice overs for an audio book company called Novel Effect. Other work includes composing, recording and mixing music for a short film called "Dear Emma" and an official teaser trailer for a PS4 and Xbox One game called "On A Roll." I've worked on many other creative projects as well, please see my portfolio for more info.

Among Authors

Role:  Audio Engineer / Producer / Writer / Performer

• Wrote, produced, performed, engineered, mixed and mastered Among Authors' debut full length album "I AM BECOME

• Wrote, produced, performed, engineered, mixed and mastered a solo Among Authors' EP called "Icicle Creek Sessions: Songs From I AM BECOME"

• Animated a music video for Among Authors' debut single "Imitation House" which won 2nd place in a Seattle film festival

• Wrote, produced, engineered, mixed and mastered a song called "Ghost Nerves" which was featured in an official teaser trailer for the PS4 and Xbox One game "On A Roll"

Novel Effect

Role:  Contract Audio Engineer / Voice Overs / Soundscape Implementation

• Performed and recorded voice-overs for audio book software

• Searched stock audio websites for sound effects and music to combine together to make believable soundscapes for audio books which are triggered in the Novel Effect app in real-time as the user reads the book out loud

• Worked with custom software to implement the audio into the application

• Mixed audio to Broadcast LUFS limiting standards.

Robert Lang Recording Studios

Role:  Personal Assistant / Studio Construction

• Worked directly with the studio owner Bob while constructing a new control room for his studio.

QA - Video Game & Mobile Application Testing

February 2010 - Present

As someone who has been working professionally in the software testing industry, I have worked with multiple video game companies as a QA Tester and have shipped multiple AAA titles. I'm also currently working as a mobile application test for a company called Luxoft. My full QA work history is below along with the skills I've learned throughout the years as a professional tester.

Role:  Mobile Application Tester

In my current role at Luxoft as a QA Mobile application tester I've learned the following skills:

• writing and performing test cases and stories in TestRail and JIRA
• Cloning and pulling software builds, branches, and repositories with GitHub commands and SourceTree software, cutting out the need for QA specific build creation and allowing faster work item turn around.
• Utilizing Apple’s main IDE, Xcode, to build software applications on tablets, mobile, and iOS Simulators.
• Conduct black box regression, directed, and free form exploratory testing; including performance metric capture reporting, and manual test suite completion.
• Efficient defect and work item creation and tracking in JIRA on a two-week sprint Agile Scrum timeline.
